Thank You for an Incredible First Year
Our very first Spooky Q 1792 was a tremendous success. Over Halloween weekend, the Wayne County Fairground came alive with the aroma of hardwood smoke, the sound of live music, and the energy of a community gathered around great barbecue. We welcomed more than 20 competitors to the KCBS Master Series field, and were thrilled to host over 500 visitors who came out to taste, cheer, and celebrate.
From the sauce competition to Granny’s Table, from costumes to the Mohawk contest, every part of the event brought laughter, creativity, and unforgettable fall fun. The talent on display from both seasoned pitmasters and first-time competitors set a high bar for years to come.
We are grateful to everyone who competed, volunteered, supported, sponsored, and attended. You helped Spooky Q 1792 become something truly special.
We’ll be back next year—bigger, smokier, and even spookier.
