FIVE LITTERS BORN AT IBERICO ACRES
Our first Wiregrass farrowing season has delivered five new litters of purebred Iberico piglets.
The piglets are thriving alongside their mothers, exploring the woods and learning to forage within their individual sounders. Watching them naturally root, roam and work the forest floor confirms exactly why we brought the Iberian model of raising pigs to Alabama.
These new arrivals represent the future of Iberico Acres: carefully managed genetics, pasture-based husbandry and authentic purebred Iberico raised with room to express its natural behavior.
OUR FIRST ON-FARM PROCESSING ALLIANCE
We are proud to announce our first on-farm processing alliance with Ranch Hand Butchers.
Customers will be able to purchase either a half-carcass or whole-carcass share of an Iberico Acres hog. Each customer will then complete a cut sheet detailing how they would like their share processed, including their preferred individual cuts.
Whole suckling pigs will also be available for customers seeking an exceptional centerpiece for roasting, smoking or a special gathering.
This program operates under Alabama’s on-farm processing provisions for personal use. Carcass shares and suckling pigs are intended for the purchaser’s personal use and are not available for resale.
This alliance brings processing directly to the farm while supporting our commitment to careful animal handling, skilled butchery and complete stewardship from birth through the finished product.
STRIPE PAYMENTS ARE NOW ACTIVE
Iberico Acres has activated secure online payments through Stripe.
Our WooCommerce store will be going live soon, allowing customers to reserve and purchase available half-carcass shares, whole-carcass shares and whole suckling pigs directly through our website.
Availability will be limited, and our subscribers will be among the first to know when ordering opens.
